This community is a reference resource for translations and summaries of the Japanese novel, manga, doujinshi, etc., Mirage of Blaze. MoB is an amazing 40-volume+ boys love light novel series by Mizuna Kuwabara. Set mostly in the present day (of the 1990s), it follows the 400-year adventures of five samurai "possessors" whose spirits possess the bodies of living people so that they can combat vengeful spirits and protect Japan. The story focuses on the epic, angsty love of their leader, Kagetora, and his protector, Naoe. It is psychologically tense and, at its best, very perceptive with profound ruminations on trauma and Buddhism and the implications of both for how people lives their lives. And it also has graphic sex, including noncon (you have been warned).

While we do give links to a few general summaries, we are mainly interested in detailed, blow-by-blow, almost-translation summary.
